Mediation Service
Resolving a family law case at mediation can be beneficial because it can save the parties a significant amount of time and legal expense. It also allows the parties to make a joint decision about their own lives, which can result in more flexible and creative outcomes. When a family law case proceeds to trial before a court, the Judge will make decisions for the parties that will likely have a major impact on the parties and any children involved. Reaching an agreement can also allow the parties to maintain a more positive relationship and outlook because they worked together to create the outcome for their circumstances. Resolving a case at mediation by agreement is voluntary. Reasonableness, cooperation and a willingness to listen can aid in having a successful mediation.
